ROBERT “BOB” TEEL (d.1983) held degrees in journalism and educational psychology from Temple University. He spent his career as the Personnel Manager at Dun & Bradstreet of NY and was a member of the NY Personnel Management Association. After his retirement from Dun & Bradstreet, he worked at George School developing a deferred giving program. He served on the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting’s Committee on Aging. He was one of the founders and first board members of Pennswood Village. As Secretary of the Founding Board, Bob was especially remembered for his board Minutes which were “works of art” and not to be quibbled with! Excerpts from his Minutes yielded Pennswood’s first Board Policy Handbook. Bob and his wife Deborah both lived their last years as Pennswood residents.
